Mario Gonzalez is a first generation American with Mexican parents. He was born and raised in the border town of Nogales, Arizona, where he was able to call both the US and Mexico home. He attended the University of Arizona where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Pre-Law, Spanish, and Communications. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he went on to pursue his Juris Doctor from the James E. Rogers College of Law. Mario has gained extensive experience in criminal and personal injury matters from his time at the Pima County Public Defender's Office and a personal injury law firm in Tucson. Mario joined CIMA Law Group in December of 2021 and currently handles criminal, personal injury and immigration matters.

Being from a bordertown in southern Arizona, Mario understands the needs of the communities he serves. As a family-oriented person, he has the compassion and understanding of the issues our clients face. He will work hard to make sure our clients receive the diligent and competent representation they deserve
